Well maybe you don't? But you do wish to go beyond a Spellcasting Master. Who by this point doesn't? And you know you can do better then just using the magic, you want to be better. So the question now becomes how do you do this? How do you become a Wizard or a Mage or a Battletision? Well here is how:
Wizard:
A wizard is a repository of knowledge on their field of study. They know what they need to and they know how to gain more. To prove one is worthy of the title Wizard they must do the following:
1) Create ten new spells in their field, these do not have to be perfectly original. But they must have your own unique perspective on how they work. (If you can imagine a new and inventive way to create a fireball, then it works.)
2) You must write a 50 page book on the study and understanding of your chosen field. This book must be of your own thoughts and can only make minor references to other tomes.
3) You must have had an open debate with one Magician, Wizard, or Spellcasting Master on your field. This debate must be consented to by the the other to be used.
Warlock:
While most Warlocks are evil, there are some who draw power from neutral or good sources. Warlocks simply mean ones who draw power from a source that is not a god but is higher then them. Warlocks can even draw power from Arcanas if they are willing to. However to meet the qualification of Warlock one must meet the following:
1) Describe in detail the name, and appearance of the source they are drawing from. This source must be able to be contacted by a Magician, Warlock, or other Spellcasting Master.
2) Give a detailed description of the powers gained from this source.
3) Give some new piece of understanding not known before about the ways of magic in their field because of this source.
LoreBearers:
A studier of tomes and lore most do not even know exists, a Lorebearer is considered one of the easier levels to attain. Simply one must meet one requirement to become a LoreBearer:
1) You must pass the LoreBearers Trial (listed below).
Shaman:
A Shaman is one of the ultimate communicators with the gods or any force outside the physical. They are known to be very spiritual and can often times attain an understanding beyond the normal realms of thought. To be a Shaman one must meet the following:
1) Helped AT LEAST two people through vision quests (they must testify as proof that you have helped them).
2) You must have gone on one powerful Vision quest in which the gods have spoken to you. And you must describe this quest in detail.
Battletision:
Plain and simple, Battletisions are spellcasting warriors. To become one you must meet one requirement:
1) Pass the Battletision test (listed below).
Mage:
The understudy Magician. A Mage is one who has learned magic in depth for their own field. But they are still a far way from breaking through it. To become a Mage, you must meet the following criteria.
1) Create 5 completely original and new spells to of their own design. (They cannot be copied in any way).
2) Must have started a Grimora or Librium of magic of their own design (a picture of the thing will due as proof).
3) Must had one discussion with a Magician or Mage on the subjects of their field.
To apply for one of these fields you need to PM Maltiok Shiroshi. I will set up your appointed time and place or request you to send in the tests if I see you meet the Spellcasting Master requirements.
